Q:

How do I stop my Talon valve from leaking?

I charged it up and when I disconnected it there is a VERY quiet hissing. I hooked it up again and opened the valve from the SCUBA tank thinking it hadn’t seated. That didn’t work, so I installed it in the gun and dry fired it. No dice. I have a very slow very quiet leak. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Unscrew it and replace the o ring. I think it is a 014.

Sorry for the late reply. I took your advice and dunked it under water. It’s coming from in between the threads where the brass part threads into the steel housing. To make matters worse, both my Talon & Hi-Flo valves are doing it. What is the fix?

Is it coming from inside the stem? I have also had the o ring that seals the brass fail. Took it apart and it was it was in pieces.

Stick it in a cup of water to find out where it’s coming from.
