Not specifically, no. I think that as is the way with many things, people always want bigger and bigger. The 42 Grain Dae Sungs can be pushed into the 1000fps range and they are the heaviest pellet that is generally available commercially, so it’s only natural that people will want to start thinking about heavier than that. As much of a monster as a .25 Condor with 42 Grain pellets is, it still has room to gain fpe and the easiest way to achieve that is via a heavier projectile, and that is not currently available which is why so many people have talked about and speculated on heavier offerings.

Are you saying that people are just wanting a heavy pellet to help stabilize them at high velocities?

Allen, someone will be able to give you the measurements, but I would say to concentrate on the 59 Grainers as Dae Sung already offer a pellet at 42 Grains.

That may be so, but these pellets aren’t skirted, so they are going to have more range, and carry more energy down-range then the skirted 42’s. Especially if they are sized to the LW barrels.

Most people that are looking beyond the 42 Grain Dae Sungs are doing so, not because of Ballistics, but rather because they are looking for even more weight. Ballistic Coefficient, for the most part, is not that huge of a deal in the expected ranges that we are shooting at, whereas extra mass to the pellet is.
