Q:

Hatsan airguns

Hi all!

My first post on this forum….been on the previous 1 for a while…

I owned the Condor, bought it from SS and loved its power and hated its inconsistency…sold it with profit 🙂

Im lookin for a new buy, been thinkin of Hatsan airguns. They were not known for their yuality, but it seems things are gettin better.
I held the privious model in my hands and the quality of production seems pretty good. The materials and the joints, bolts, finish, all seems not all that bad…

So, has anyone used these guns before? Loads of power and they dont look bad…..the price is a cutie….trully, they are CHEAP!
Thats y i am worried. Nothin this cheap is usually good……

i have a mod60 , its good to me , i have about 20 springgers gamo , slav’ , china ,crosman and id say its as good or better then these , i did do a trigger job so its nicer . but for the price and all around goodness , not easy to get a 700 f/s .22 springger cheep or better .

I have a Hatsan 85 and 125 in .177
They are solid decent shooters for where they come from. I actually prefer the fit and finish on the current Chinese BAM rifles. So if you could get yourself a B26 or the B28 and in the underlevers the B40 I think you would be pleased.
I do like my Hatsans well enough but I pick up my B20 and B21 more often.
Walter…

Don’t know much about them but a little quick research seems like they will require somewhat more tinkering than the af guns to make really good. Based on hatsan site recommended prices I think you could do better for the money.

If looking for most bang for buck and don’t mind tuning,
The BAM guns are getting good reviews (with tuning) for slightly less $$$.

Just found this on PA.

A BAM replica of the tx200 in .22 cal (“used” with full warranty) for less than 3 benjamins.

If tuning and tinkering is not what you want, I echo the last comment: save your money, spend a little more once, be a lot happier long term.

Good luck in your search for a new gun. I love searching but also pull my hair out doing it.

Trust me pal, I threw away so much money on cheap stuff during my airgunning years. If I could only get all that cash back… So, when I finally got the AATX200HC, boy I was finally happy. It is the best springer I’ve ever shot. Save your money and get something you’d be HAPPY with. But again, I guess, just like anyone of us here, you have to try and fail over and over in order to get where you wanna be…
Just my humble opinion.

Given the price i would expect something along the lines of a Gamo. Would probably need work to get it where you want it. Same as it does any of the AF guns. For some this is a labor of love and others a pain in the arse. I’ll stick with my TSS, got it where i want it.
