Hammer/Barrel Removal
Here’s how to remove your hammer and barrel.
Remove your air tank.
With a 3/32 Allen/Hex wrench remove the power wheel set screw first….
Next remove your endcap set screw.
Then, remove your barrel bushing set screws. Four for newer rifles, two for older. The other two set screws are under you forestock.
Slide barrel out, followed by power wheel, hammer spring, and hammer..
If they do not slide out freely, most likley the white rings on the PW are getting hung up. With a little effort you can work this assembly free…
While everything is out give the interior of your frame a good cleaning..
When re-assembling, your hammer goes in first. If it does not slide all the way down to meet your breech slide, put the hammer at the muzzle end of your frame and pull the trigger and safety as you tilt the rifle upwards to have the hammer slide down past the hammer release…
Be very careful when screwing in the PW set screw. It strips with hardly any effort.
Blue Loctite is reccommended here.
