Q:

Good News/Bad News – Pyramyd Air

Good News –

I got my order of JSB 22 pellets. I paid the $5.00 bribe, it shipped 2 days later!

Bad News –

They were destroyed in shipping! They were packed in a small cardboard box with no padding at all. The results should have been predictable.

I called them got a RMA, now if they will get me the email return shipping label I will ship them back.

I’m waiting…………..

When are they going to learn? A little scotch tape goes a long way at keeping those lids closed.

Haha… very funny you should say that. I received my replacement tins today. They were shipped same day and were packed really well. So well in fact that the tins were taped in pairs with scotch tape… and I mean TAPED… I don’t think I’ll be able to get them apart. 🙂 At least they aren’t bent.

Damn DOC, that really sucks. I hope they send you out more than enough to replace those.

For those of you ordering Beeman Kodiaks and wanting place a big enough order for free shipping. If you can, pay for 30 tins. You’ll get ten free for a total of 40, more important you’ll get an even 8 boxes. Believe me those card board boxes combined with the shrink wrap on the tins makes a big difference. See the thread “who has Kodiaks in stock”

😯 😯 😯 😯 😯 😯

thanks PA

Be careful. The edges on mine are sharp and very pointy

So I got my Tri-rail in today from PA, and put it on the gun. It actually has more beef and heft to it than I thought it would. Anyways, I guess who ever packaged it couldn’t find a big enough box, so they just folded the top of the container down to make it fit. The sharp tip/end of the tri-rail broke thru. No damage to the rail or anything, but still kinda shoddy packing imo.

Lol I didn’t mean anything as an insult at all python no need for tension to arise.

No tension… just a suggestion. What really needs to happen is for all manufacturers to being using threaded lids… like the cheap ass pellets.

You are absolutely right.

So that’s why there was tape! I recently received a tin and during the removal of the tape it tore the whole label off of the front of the tin. 👿

I made that suggestion yesterday. I also did not suggest how to tape them… so if you they were shipped before then, your problem wasn’t due to my suggestion.

Be thankful they were taped and not spilled and damaged. If you’re so into looking at the pretty labels perhaps you can keep a tin or two with good labels and empty the torn labeled tins into those.

At some point everyone says they’re through with Pyramyd, but their prices and customer service really can’t be beat.

I got 8 tins of pellets from them last week … very well packaged and absolutely no damage at all.

Was so happy I ordered 24 more tins to reward them … lets see if my luck holds out on this next one 😆

In my complaint email to them I also mentioned that this problem could be solved by having warehouse pullers tape the tins shut. That email was forwarded to the shipping manager.

What they should do is just put some tape around the sides of the tin, horizontally (like it normally comes with the red tape).

BTW, where is a good place to order JSB pellets from? I think I’m through with pyramyd.

I’ve contacted Pyramyd’s customer service team and they’ve corrected my problem. They shipped more than enough tins of pellets to compensate for the damaged ones I received.

If their shipping team works anything like the one I was a part of, the pellets will be well packed for the next week or so. After that, it’ll go back to the same thing. Get ’em while they’re good. 😉
