Thanks brother Hemn for your suggestions. And what for internal mechanisms in the cricket there is lot of moving parts? There are two materials steel and aluminum… I have seen somewhere special vaseline lube for steel-aluminum but I could not find it 😕

Only silicone grease must be used for all internal parts of the regulator or air reservoir and o rings. ..

And for all external parts all moly grease can be used. …and i asked my friend to order one of the below for me. ..i think this will be good since it will not make your clothes get dirty. ..

Ville’s back!!! :8: :8: :8:

quote Cricket:

What about the inside of the reg? If it has dirty grease inside what can you replace that with after a clean up?

The reg insides shouldn´t be greased anyways. For the o-rings it´s silicone grease, thin layer. Away with all the grease inside the reg.

Inside the regulator use silicon oil.It would work good.

White Moly = White Molybden Disulphite Grease. Found everywhere they sell Products for lubrication.

What is white moly? Do you know right type ? thx

white moly?

Thanks guys for feedback 🙂 Personally I have polished my hammer and my spring is stainless steel it doesn’t need to polished 😆
My receiver is lubed by some white vaseline from year 1990 🙂 His cricket has vaseline from the factory and question is what about use some special lube for combination steel-aluminum ??

If he wants it to go smoother when cocking then another thing to do would be to polish the hammer and hammer spring, first thing I noticed with my cricket was how rough the cocking was,so I polished the hammer to a mirror sheen and also the spring, it had instant effect and now it is much smoother, not perfect, but a lot beter

Jan, I use silicone grease on the receiver — which the barrel connects to — and I use Maccari moly paste for the cocking mechanism, especially on the cocking plate (which rubs against the breech block).
