Ruger Redhawk here. Setup with the V notch rear and bead front sight.
I borrowed it to my Dad once, and inherited it back when he passed away.
I didn’t miss it the 10 years he had it, much. 😆

My Smith 629 is a pure joy to shoot
Love the 44 cartridge, also have a Marlin 44 lever gun
My 629 is great shooting 150 yards or so up a mountain side
at stuff like rocks and what not
44 is relatively cheap compared to the 454 casull

got the raging bull also in 44mag….love it…no prob shooting that all day long with factory ammo…now home made hardloaded stuff is something else 🙂
i like my taurus….im pretty accurate with it…..but would have gone casull and then just shot 45 long colt in it for daily shooting….and stuff the casull stuff in there to have a blast 🙂
I had the Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casuall
I did not like that gun at all.
I shoot alot of .44 magnums and could not stand more than 20 rounds or so
seriously…..wow….i want one….and then i want something to kill with it !
