Q:

fx revolution common problems?

I’m wondering what are the common problems because it would be very difficult getting it fixed or buying parts here in Canada. I’m still planning to buy one someday

I read on the Yellow to make sure you lube where the cocking lever moves? or touches in the frame maybe? something in there I guess gets dry and starts wearing…I don’t have mine yet so I’ve been trying to imagine what they were talking about. I’d guess simple maintenance/upkeep is in the manual also?

Thanks, Jim.

The screws that hold the cocking bolt will wear out. They will become loose and then strip.
I have to replace mine.

Mine is shooting well thought it spit out the orings that were installed (cosmeticly?) around the striker weights and at the travel stop. But Ive seen no wear anywhere since the loss.

Most are very pellet picky and JSB exacts are best. Kodiaks sometimes cycle well on mine…can’t figuer why not always. Some old beemans do well too. It seems that pellets with a good flat surface inside the skirt work sometimes. Ive had very little sucess with pellets that are cone shaped at the inside bottem of the skirt. I attribute this to the rapid bolt close expanding the skirts with no flat push point.

I’ve also heard of many cycle issues being caused by people over tightenig the clips one cover screw. It will clamp down on the rotating portion of the mag preventing it from turning freely. I don’t even consider it an issue once you know abou it.

It is odd to say about a semi. But my revo is the most accurate gun I own…

the fun factor is off the charts, you’ll enjoy it 😈

JJ what do you think of the Verminator? I’ve looked at that a couple times and wondered how it does? accuracy? # shots? power? loudness? Damn it is a compact gun too!

Thanks, Jim.

welcome wolf

ive got a verminator, about the only thing id change is the cocking lever
id bring it back by about 1cm and replace the o rings on the lever as they give me blisters due to shooting it so much 😆 😆

id love a revo 🙄 🙁

have you guys ever taken this gun apart? Is it similar to a cr600?

Steve from SSairguns told me that AOA is going to jack up the prices on FX airguns in the new year. I’m still looking to buy one at a good price because here in canada it sells for $2200.

I have taken apart both of my revo’s. They are pretty easy to take apart and put back together. Just remember how everything goes. Some parts
will go on back wards and the rifle will not work.
If you take off the barrel you have to line it up with the air port or the rifle will not cycle.
Little things can cause the Revo not to cycle. One thing that I notice is my revo is just as accuarte as my AA410.
lots of fun. 😀 😀

The most common problem I have found with mine is keeping the magazine loaded. I solved this problem by buying six mags. This way when the mags are empty and gun needs filling anyway. I am a follower of the KISS solutions.

The biggest problem you can have is it won’t cycle. Then it becomes a the FX gladiator.
