Now that is very kick-ass!

Now I want to see it with a scope mounted, laying next to a target full of fresh tight groups. 😛

quote Bodhisdad:

Looks good would like to see it on the frame.

right bodi mate here u go a few pics off it on the frame .

hope u like

thanks for the coments lads .
riffraff mate the wood i usedfor this one isn,kt the heavyest off woods so it,s not to bad it,ll be a while before i get out with it on the gun so sorry lads u will have to wait i still have to give it a few good coats off dannish . 😀

Rabbits, that is looking pretty nice. I havent commented before as I couldnt get the slideshow to appear on my PC. Dialup is hell…

Looked at it from work yesterday, I am impressed. Like others I am looking foreward to your bench test. Although a stock makes the gun heavier, the rewards are worth it IMO.

i,ll get it on the frame tomorrow mate and take a few pics for use to have a look at . 😀

quote get the blue jay:

she’s a cumming along nicely, have you had it on for a test shoot yet, if so hhow did it do?

hi mate i had it on the gun a week ago and fire about 10 pellets through it i did all i wanted it to do feel nice and not to heavey .one thing but it,s daft to shoot a condore at70+ftbl with out a scope on it (i safe)shooting at a wall out in the feilds . 😛

cheers mate i,ve been working around the house the last few days so not had a chance to do anything but i,ll get it out tomorrow if i have a chance to get back into it . 😛

looking real good there rabbits, I’m liking the revised cut out, pulls some of the bulk out of it.

get some sleep befor your next shift, then get back at it, cant wait to see it all shined up.

i,m hopeing to get some wood soon so i,ll be right behind u with the full stock in some realy nice walnut or something like that 😀

keep up the hard work mate ..

oh did u have a look at the yard for me mate

I usually have a sketch going in the shop and work on it when an idea comes along or want a break for a few minutes. I’m doing the same with the poplar. I’ll do a couple of full stocks as i have layed out in the drawing then do one out of the walnut with some coco accents on the foregrip end cap, bottom of grip and the buttstock. As you already know that poplar works alot quicker then the other woods we’ve worked with. I’m off to get something done now.

cheers bodi mate .i,ve been on this one way too long and nead to get at it and finnished and get sonme good wood sorted for my next one.well the wood start,s off as a big big off 2 1/2″thick and about 11″width and go from there i,ve got it done to about less than2″ on the fore end but still looking to get it thinner but that will be with sanding it down.poplar is ok wood for a stock like this as it,s very workable and light bu i want to get some more exotic stuuf if i can find it.i,m very wairy off getting it off e-bay as it,s all from the state,s and i don,t c it first to say if it,s good enought or not but i,ll cross that bridge when i come to it .

i,m thinkng off trying the template u sent me but i,ll change it to suit me got a few other idea,s the now but ain,t had time to site and draw anything up yet but i,lll get a chance when work ain,t so hard .should be soon .. 😀
