Blue Jay:
Check out the engraving on the carriage mounted gun.
I found a guy that engraved shotguns, and he jumped at the oppertunity to engrave something unusual, like the gatling gun.
Yah. Every part, except a few screws, bearings, and springs , was home built. Got plans off the internet. $500 in parts, 500 hours in the basement machine shop. I got 3 of these things (Thats 1500 Hours total!).
D. H. : You do welding on those big pipes?
I used to be Chief Engineer on a small Tank Ship in the Pacific Ocean. Your pictures remind me of my old boat! Based out of Pearl Harbor (but not military), been to Midway Island, Wake Island, Johnson Atol, Kwajlin Atol, etc.
NOT QUITE A MINIGUN, BUT STILL FUN!!
10 BARRELS .22 CAL.
THE BIGGEST ENJOYMENT I GET FROM THIS GUN IS LETTING SOME 14 YEAR OLD THAT HAPPENS TO BE AT THE RANGE, RUN OFF A MAGAZINE.
YOU DONT LOOK AT WHAT HE IS SHOOTING, YOU LOOK AT HIS FACE — NEVER FAILS TO PRODUCE A HUGE SMILE.
