JPEG – do you have the carbine or a pistol w/ a new barrel?

Better that then the kindling pile. Still a good job for your first attempt.

WOW, I have one of those with a longer barrel. in 22 cal.

Seems to be an obscure gun. I haven’t shot it in a few years.

Bluejay would you reccomend getting the carbine version with the stock instead of the pistol?[/quote]

It depends on what you want it for…

the pistols are fun as hell, but don’t think you can take something out by aiming with a cold shot, I can hit the golf ball within 3 shots off the hip, If I try to aim it I can’t hit a thing.

the carbines with a scope are dead on and even more fun.

I got mine as a x-mas bonus back in ’90 or ’91 put some were around 60,000 rounds trough it, had the barrel clog with lead in one day of fun, after that I only run jacketed rounds. the only other problem it has had is a jackass friend of mine wound the clip spring ’till it broke, took over two years to find one, needles to say, they load and I wind these days as to avoid that again.

If I had a choose I would of went with the carbine, and probably pick one up before the ban comes back.

calicos are freakin great i always wanted one of the 9mm ones.

I didnt know about a .40 that would rock

Bluejay would you reccomend getting the carbine version with the stock instead of the pistol?

quote Shadoh:

You used to be able to get those in 9mm as well.

you still can, and I believe they are making a .40 setup to be out soon

calico’s address is http://calicolightweaponsystems.com/home/ if anyone wants to give it a look

8) 😈 it’s the best home defense out there 😈 8)

it started life as a calico m-100p , which is a 100 round semi auto .22 pistol with a 4″ barrel, well, still is…

It is inaccurate as hell for groups but very fun to shoot off the hip, you can play jump the golf ball ’till your finger cramps, switch hands and keep going ’till it cramps, and switch back before you need a reload.

what I want to do with it is to find someone that can make me an 11″ barrel for it, then I’ll scope it, grip it, get this or some other stock on it, and scare the hell out of the kids with a 100 rounds of fun. 😉 😈 😈 😈 😉

It’s not the most elegant of weapons, but it has a strange allure about it. What did it start off as and what is it becoming, Jay?
