Well TT, i understand what you are saying BUT, in the CONDORS in .25 cal, the 42 gr. PEJ’s are better than the DOMED version. In least in my CONDOR it is. Period.

In a SPRINGER or other PCP in .22 or .177 or .20, Domes NORMALLY rule over pointed pellets.

In my Rapid .25 using the same LW barrel in .25, the domes are better but, the PEJ’s give me a really tight group then it throughs in a flyer.

Hey anyone know the BC’s for 37 and 42 grain Eun jins??

Thanks Randy

Thanks TT, I am going to a .25 Condor upgrade just want to standardize to a heavy pellet for hunting good past 100 meters and I know I have asked before I just think for hunting it is all about downrange kenetic energy. I recently used a Talon bottle on my Condor shooting 14 grainers and two of my buddy’s laughed and said my Condor had absolutely NO balls!! As they used it on Gophers this summer shooting 29 EJ’s at 950 fps. The metal spinner hardly moved compared to before. 🙁

Randy: you could try the Kodiaks, which are 31 Grains, but heavier than that and you have to look at the Eun Jin at 37, Eun Jin Pointed at 42 (contact Sluggo) or the Eun Jin Wadcutter (not 100% sure of the weight).

Guys, please understand: I am not saying that the 42 Grainers are not accurate. What I am saying is that a pointed pellet will never be as accurate as a roundnose.

So is it safe to say only the 37 grain roundnose are available fromm Eun Jin and there are no other pellets with that wieght??

Randt

Just contact Sluggo… He’s got PLENTY for sale!

Pointed not as accurate? I know I shot a half inch group at 55 yards with those out of my condor. Anthony’s amazing barrel in there. I think that’s pretty darn good. 😛

I love those 42g Eun Jins. It really is a shame that they quit making them. Maybe if we all bombared them with emails telling them to start back then they would do it…

🙂 Nothing works quite like being annoying. 🙂

Get a .25cal and I will send you a tin for testing. The only way to judge them is to try them out for yourself. Eun Jins are not the typical pointed pellet. They are almost the same as the regular eun jins but with more lead in the front and slighty pointed.

THANKS for hooking me up. That will help!!!!!! 😀

Sluggo: I never said that they were not accurate, just that pointed pellets are not as accurate as a roundnose, which is true. If you were to take the 10 most accurate pellets ever made I would be exceptionally surprised if a pointed pellet was in there. I would be surprised if there was a pointed in the first 20 as well. It isn’t a knock on the 42 Grainers in the slightest (I think that they are wonderful), but rather me just saying that if they were a roundnose the chances are 10:1 that they would be even better than what they are.

Hope that that clears things up.

I found the .25 42gr Pointed Eun Jins them to be second to only to Kodiaks in accuracy.

Definitly Good enough for hunting.. and let me use my Condor .25 on full power without making a sonic crack like the Kodiaks did (which needed turning down a bit to keep them quiet).

I do believe that Raman is Sluggo, so you could also PM here under that name.

It’s a shame that the 42 Grainers are pointed, as pointed pellets are never as accurate. If they were the same weight and a roundnose like they are in .22 (the roundnose .25 Eun Jin is too short in my opinion) they would rule all.

Pointed pellets are not accuarte? It depends on the pellet and what you are shooting them out of. The 42grain pointed pellets are more accuarte then the round nose.
I have tested both back to back.

Funny that I can hit a dime at 65yards with them out of my Old Career 707.
Same remarks are made with the predator pellets. I think the predator pellets are also accuarte.
I do shoot alot.
almost everyday. Only 3 times a month long range.
I think the 3 rings around the pellet help.

Wasp shot at 10 yards with crosman 2040 and new 20cal predator pellets.

The guy on the yellow classifieds is named Raman. I spoke to him on the phone today about getting a new 909 .45 that he has several NIB. I bought 10 tins of the .42g .25’s a few weeks ago. They are the real deal. He has a friend who is an importer and he shelled out some bucks to have a run of 10,000 tins made. He’s got plenty. Contact him at raman781@adelphia.net

Thanks Nuglor, I will check him out. 😀
