My goal is to shoot from near 300 bar to 130 bar. Thats whopping 8300J total energy to waste (200->150 bar is only 2450J).
If I can get 40J ME still with 130bar that will mean about 170 consistent shots with 2m/s total velocity variation depending of regulator. For a 50 shots string variation should be only 0.6 m/s.
But then again… that’s just theory calculation with 80% efficiency rate. There are few issues that I can’t estimate nor calculate. One of the biggest factors is the size of regulation chamber. It will set the hard limit for lowest usable pressure and 130 bar might be little stretched. 150-160 propably more realistic.

I have _second_ working regulator now on testbench. When I have the new tank and can attach to it to gun and perform some real shooting then I will post the complete story. Meanwhile here’s few pics sofar 😉
btw, There are two fellas on our local Finnish forum who have ordered EdGun and awaiting delivery.
Loads of info on the Matador on the Russian site http://talks.guns.ru . I prefer the TV4 myself ,it has alot of what WOK wants. The site also had mcMikes regulator pics on there ,along with Baz s valve with the gauge on it . It also has a section on the Stealth with a differant valve on it but cant understand a word of it lol. Yep the Ruskies are watching us ! . Well at least you know what my next project looks like 😯 hehe
Sounds like a Skan R32 to me.
What I would like to see is it have a 10 round magazine and then link the bolt to a forearm pump mechanism to cycle it. How cool would that be!
