If this was meant for me then I have to say I’m sorry. I only like to design them and make a prototype to prove myself it’s possible. I don’t plan to make them for sale since I don’t like machining that much 🙂
But I think you can purchase complete system (tank+reg+valve) from Marv quite soon. That is … after reg has been fieldtested and proved to work in gun.
Yeah. Learning curve for 3D solidmodeler is quite steep. It will take few weeks if not months until you can really use it as well as 2D-cad. But after that there’s no going back. SolidEdge (which I use) has also built-in FEM (Finite Element Analysis) which is a nice little safety to quickly verify strength calculations. There are real materials with their real tensile and yield strengts. It calculates volumes, weight, areas, center of gravity, etc. automaticly for you. It has also not only animation but simulation too with gravity, springs, gears, motors and so on. You can built quite complex system and get some idea what will happen once it’s started. After you have worked your model/assembly it will do the 2D-drafts almost automaticly for you.
Anyway, if it’s not too much to ask is it possible to get those autocad drawings to lookup? (with email).
Didn’t knew that spare tanks are so cheap. I was planning to make my own (BIG) tank from 6082 aluminium tube/bar. 35mm for OD and 29 for ID. Length almost as long as the gun. It would give 500ccm volume and can take 300bar with 2x safety.
And btw, I am most interested about your magazine-system too. Wouldn’t want to reinvent that if there is working solution already. 🙂

I didn’t realize how rare these “one-off” bullpups are. Just got an email from a blue member. He made me realize how much custom design and machining goes into one of these. On the other hand I’ll honor my original price. The fellow studying my bullpup has the option to purchase.
Only got CAD drawings for it ,based on the TV4 drawing ive posted here . Pefer to see if it works on the wood mock up before posting plans. Now having a go at Google sketchbook ,might have some graphics much later. Tried Soild Works but it was abit to much for me at the mo , need to put aside some time for that 🙁 .Wish i could do the graphics that you can do , then i could run animations of my design which would realy help. Ive gone for a similar indexing system as found on the AA S200 addon mag system. Got 8 pellets to a mag as its all i need , gona have it regulated with a S200 pressure tube (as they only cost £60) forward cocking handle in bullpup configuation 😯 .Matador looks nice but i want a mag fitted. So im set to go just need the time ………fatal flaw in my plan Damit 👿

It should be alot easier / quicker to build as its not of all metal consruction (like my stealth) but it will be more complex 😯 . This is the one ive been gearing up for 😀 and the one i realy want to build for the mag system 😯 ,so were see wot happens 😀

I thought about that idea and might try it out sometime. No need for regulator chamber. That would solve few issues for sure.
I am very interested about your project. Any change to see some drawings? I got an idea for EdGun clone but with few changes. But if I ever proceed I will model it completely first.

I have _second_ working regulator now on testbench. When I have the new tank and can attach to it to gun and perform some real shooting then I will post the complete story. Meanwhile here’s few pics sofar Wink

Il send you the drawings mcMike and you can have a look ,see what you think ! 😕 . Remember im not a pro like you hehe. Also got drawings of the Matador stock which you may like but these are all on my other PC which il get to later in the week. I would prefer to build my own tank but it dont make sence . My machine isnt long enough to machine the tube so il d have to pay for someone to do it ,and then pay for it to be pressure tested also (£20) so buying is the way. As far as the mag system ive got 2, simple one based on a Rapid mag which is sprung loaded , and the other based on S200 system which im stilling playing with the geometry.That s why i need a mock up out of wood , to test it which you would do with Solid Works. My breach is split into two halfs horizontaly so i can change between the two systems . 😯
