Q:

Does the hammer of an airgun actually come in contact?

Does the hammer of an airgun actually come in contact with the pellet itself? Does anything, or does air just push it out?

NostraLamas, NostraLamas NostraLamas! To put that last tirade in perspective, please review the movie “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”. In the movie you’ll find a scene where Steve Martin is playing the idiot brother, Ruprict. The supposed brother is courting an hieress from Oklahoma. Steve Martin, in his charater ‘Ruprict’ screams the following “Oklahoma, Oklamoha, Oklahoma! I think my testicles just dropped. ”

After reviewing the scene go back to the begining of the post and read it again with feeling. AKULA

I like it.

Not much time to shoot ’cause I’m busy with work. Always have time to mess with NostraLamas though. 😆 😆

DH; Good to see you back. I was afraid you were washed away with the winter rains.

Nostralamas it is. I was considering Gilligan, but yours is better. AKULA

“The Artist” formerly known as Lama, shall hereby be addressed as NostraLamas. 😛

Well done Lama,

You actually understood someting we were saying these last years.

Sorry couldn’t help it!

Regards,

Marc

Hammer smacks the breech, which smacks the tophat. Tophat releases air and pushes out the pellet. Only thing that touches the actual pellet are air and the barrel. Nothing but air pushes it.
