I was messing with some cromags today, moddified. If you can manage to hit what your aiming at they do open up very nice as Robs near decapitated/ faceless chipper shows 😆 Where was the entrance on that shot Rob? almost looks like a glanceing hit?

They open up chipmunks, too….

Sportsman Wharehouse has them, good price, too. Additionally they have BSA Wolverines (rebranded JSB Exacts) that shoot like a house afire. Bad thing is that you have to physically go there-no Net sales.

Try JSB predators. Much more accurate and just as deadly.

Harder to find though.

I don’t have any predators. I might should be on the lookout for em.

What kind of bird? And at what velocity? Did you modify them by making the cross cutts through the hollow point cavity?

Yeah I did the cross cut. I used a razor blade and it was a hack job…lol. It was a starling sitting on a tree limb in the back yard about 15 yards away. They don’t group well without the crosscuts I imagine it’s worse with ’em. I won’t be showing off any groups with them of course. I couldn’t believe the “POP” it made with it hit that feathery pest. I shot it with my Super 12 which does around 30 fpe with kodiaks.

Crow mags are to inconsistent for me. In the Talon 30 yds and that is about it. In the AA 410 I might as well throw the pellets at the target. The 410 hates cro mags big time!
