crosman 2240
I took out my 2240 to test the velocity of the 32gr eun jin pellets.
Last time I shot this pistol was about a year ago.

I am sure you will met him soon. He is moving out toward you in about a month.
I shoot with Hoyt about twice a month.
I heard that Greg is one of the best when it comes to airgun mods.
Stunning gun. I’ve looked into sending some parts in for a chrome dip, but never quite did it…… would be interesting to see how much pricing would be on a small job such as that.

Never met Mr. Vandenburg, although the name sounds familiar.
Greg knows pretty much everyone in the business, and vise versa. He’s been doing this for over 30 years. He used to hang with Tim McMurray at his shop years ago when Tim was into designing some of the first paint ball guns. Greg has been very low profile the last few years, but has been considered by many to be one of the best in the AG business.
By the way, this guy did alot of work on my 2250, all for free. The only thing he asked was for me to be there to learn from him… I’ll take that deal! Great guy to know if your into this stuff for sure.

Yep, real nice guy, lives about 25 min from me in Van Nuys. He also machined a custom valve stem for my 2250. Amazing gun collection he has, he’s let me shoot many of them. I also bought my TSS from him.
He’s been so busy lately with other projects, mostly building hot rods. One of them is a son/father project, and hasn’t been doing to much with AG’s lately, but is looking forward to get back into it again when other commitments are done. He offered to take me with him sometime for some silhouette shooting, which I think I’ll take him up on. No doubt he knows his stuff with airguns.

Sweet piece sluggo, I always loved the 22XX guns. Thought I’d post a pic of my 2250. Mac 1 bulked, Greg Fuller valve work. Very accurate, but also very loud, which keeps me from shooting it now that I have a TSS. Breaks the 700 fps barrier with 14.3 gr

All mods were done at home except the chrome.
I had a chrome shop dipp it for me.

I took the parts to a chrome shop that did car parts. At the time he charged me $5.00 a part.
barrel, breech, bolt, tube, plug, cap, trigger, grip frame, and grip frame pc.
It came out to $45.00 or $50.00.
that was 6 years ago.
Chrome has held up. Looks like it did when I first got it.
I told the guy not to chrome the inside of the barrel or any threads.
came out great.
