Q:

Couple of S400’s…… pics

What happens when you take a S400Carbine in .177 and a S400ERB in .22 and mate them up?

When I was at Roanoke, Jim at Precisionair kept tempting me with a beautiful stocked S400ERB Side lever. I declined at the time, but after a while, I couldnt resist. I called him when I got home and he still had it. Easily the nicest factory stock I’ve seen on a S4xx series.

When I got it home, I got to thinking that I’d like the SL as a hunting gun and didnt want to mess up the pretty stock. Since my Carbine is normally a paper puncher, I swapped stocks…. Now the Carbine wears the pretty stock while the ERB Side Lever has the beech stock… The pics do this gun no justice.

Nice Rob…

Luckily mine thinks that if a 10/22 costs $150 then an airgun must cost way less because its less powerful…. 😈

I kept the new 410 hidden for a few days, and now use it openly so when she asks I can say “Oh I got this ages ago”, but she hasnt asked yet so I think she just assumes its just one of my other’s….

One thing I gotta be careful about…. the Camera is her new warning sign. If she see’s me going into the workshop with it, or taking a picture of something then she pays way more attention, she knows I cant help posting pics online so…. I can walk by with an arm full of rifles and nothing gets said, but pick up that camera and she’s watching my every move.

YN, you gotta go with some odds and ends, explaining a new mod, or a reconfiguration which would explain the camera 💡 Ha, it’ll take her a while to figure that one out. They do it with the close/shoe thing all the time. I catch my wife every now and again. See her with a different outfit and ask where it came from “i’ve had this thing a while” except every now and again on rain days mostly, i’ll find a package from one of them catalogs. They do the same thing we do.

Rob how’s the S410 shooting? have you found the press. sweet spot? 😀

…..damn… Bodis got me pegged….

Yes, far easier to ship rather than come home with it. …and it was shipped to an alt location 😳

I always mention shipping out guns and sending away for tunes, etc so that there is always an influx of stuff coming in and going out. Dont need to do it as much now as she’s used to it.

I got the gun home… came WALKING IN FROM WORK with it when I got home. Laid it down on the ottoman and started to mount a scope to it and she never said the first word about it. 😆

That is beautiful…..you bastard 😈

😆 😆 Robs got an eye, how he left the show without it, is what i’m trying to figure out. Heres Rob ” Must resist temtation to purchase gun” all the while he walks around the show, passing the booth severl times. I see his stratagy if he came home with it the wife would see, so he orders it a week later 😉 . Was it shipped to the office or home? Once its in the hive the wife would never know. Here he is again Robs wife ” is that a new gun” and Rob “No, i’ve had this one awhile 🙄 ” Nice walnut on a stock gun, i wonder if all vendors get that kind of wood, or if some have a in with the supplier. Like say pyramid gets the avg looking ones and the few really nice ones goes to certain other vendors?

😯 😯 😯
Can’t wait for mine! Just two more days…

That is beautiful…..you bastard 😈
