Q:

CO2 Fill question

Was wondering if someone could tell me if I can bulk fill the HPA tank on Condor, Talon or Talon ss? With Co2 for indoor controlled shooting? I have one of each tanks. Does hiflo tank give you more power? Since the tanks are rated for 3000 psi overfilling should not be a problem?? Would like to hear the do or do not’s on this matter. I hate the tank that comes with the co2 kit. Shitty cheek rest. Thanks for your insight. Kip.

Give us a followup report on how it works out. You are the first to try using Co2 in the HPA, Hi Flo valve bottle. For 10 meters, very low power, may work out just fine. The Co2 adapter was designed to get the most power out of Co2. Using the Condor for low power is something I never thought about, just use other air rifles.

Let us know if the stock O-rings holds up? The stock breech O-rings have no problem with Co2, but that was part of the Original design.

Have fun.

Oh, I see what your saying I will give it a try. Thanks for info. Kip

The HPA bottle has an O-ring and some o-rings are not CO2 compatible. It may swell like a sponge absorbing Co2.

Looks are deceiving, have you disassembled the two valves and compared, you would see the difference then.

The opposite of what you’re trying has had poor results. The valve spring and seal are different. Parts require changing. Using the Co2 valve on the HPA bottle with air.

Solution : Take the Co2 valve off the Co2 adapter and put it on the HPA bottle.

HPA valve may work poorly, call Airforce and find out what they say, I have used the Co2 adapter with no problems. Some use huge Co2 tanks with no problem.

So it should not be a problem to fill up an empty HPA tank with co2? kip

Try and see how it works.

Sam 😎

Looks the same as high flow valve. Don’t see why it will not work?

Co2 is alot thicker than air, and requires a larger valve than air. A HiFlo valve won’t release enough Co2 to work properly.

There are alot of Different size Co2 bottles available, should be able to get one to suit you?
