Class 3 Licence

An alternative you may consider, is just getting the Kriss Super V that has the 16″ Barrel. They put a shroud over them to make it look like a silencer. You could buy one of those on Gunbroker and have it sent to most any local FFL. Then you would avoid the $200 tax stamp and also the lengthy wait!
I belive this is the route that I might take.
Don’t even go there dude…… 😆
Well thats gay, My Uzi has a folding stock and I did nothing with it. Well whatever I’m done talking about. Stupid gun laws.
I’m certain that in the setup pictured above, it is considered a rifle by the ATF, even though the “stock” is removable. I had a HK UMP conversion that had a similar stock setup and ended up having to leave the 16″ barrel on it.

It comes with a silencer.
I don’t get it though, it’s not a rifle. Why does it have to be registered? My Uzi has a 10″ barrel an it’s not registered. It’s not as short as that Kriss, but it’s shorter than 16″.
I’m sure they are pretty accurate, they didn’t look half bad. I just cringed when I saw a view of how the insides moved when the gun shoots and cycles. Way too many parts moving around. I don’t like a semi auto rifle like an ar-15 because of too much moving stuff, and everything inside of that gun moved.
Just a personal hatred towards moving parts. 😀 😀
For $1200 it has to be semi auto. I guess the SBR is the only thing making it class 3.
$1200.00, is it only semi auto? It’s not a rifle so you may not need to register it as a SBR. If it’s not full auto why is it a class 3?
I got to shoot one in L.A. it was sweet to me and it stayed on target.
$1200 not bad at all would pay more.
Isn’t that the stupid thing that cycles down at an angle or something to minimize recoil? I hate that thing. 😆
You will need a FFL dealer that has a Class III license to take transfer of the gun (*And probably end up paying 2 transfer taxes)….because that particular Vector setup is a SBR (short barrel rifle). Anything under 16″ barrel, you must have a federal tax stamp to own. That’ll require you to get your local LE chief to sign off on on your application…or apply using a trust.
I recently registered and AR15 for SBR. The tax stamp is $200 and I used the trust method. It took about 4 months for the ATF to process and approve the application.
Damn those are sweet. If you don’t mind me asking, how much?
Its a KRISS VECTOR .45

If it is full auto, it requires a 200. stamp.
Shoulder stock= short bbl rifle, Another Stamp!
Sound Suppressor= another stamp. 600.00 bucks so far!
Plus, It’s butt ugly, and way too much gun for shooting Mike’s Rat’s! 😆
