It’s gettin about time to brake down and get one, so my question is – What do you nice people have and what are the likes and dislikes.

While the F-1 can work fine it is very primative, the Alpha offers a few more advantages with high/low speed settings and also average velocities. You can also retrieve the individual shot velocities. We use the Bata Master Chrony in our test fire range which offers even more advanced features. F-1 for about $69.95 or up to 134.95 for the top of the line. We do not show the F-1 as they are no very popular. We do have it available though.

I have the basic green F1 chrony, It does ok, I wish I would of spent more. I have to shoot the gun, break shooting position to write the speed down, some day I will break down and get the printer.

you can plug in your the chrony data from 10 shots and it calculates everything out.
Well I’m using the Chrony Alpha Master. I like the ability to have the readout next to me on the bench. I can do the point of impact with out getting up and walking over there.
As for what I don’t like. I do a lot of in door and low light. Witch means that I needed to by the light for it and did not. (cheep ass) so that’s next on the list.
But all in all it a very nice thing to have.

I’ve just got the basic green F1 chrony. Does well for me. If I remember correctly, it will do a 32 shot string, will do hi, low, sd, average, etc.
Hook up a chrony printer to it and it’ll print out all this.
Does everything I want it to do.
What I dont like? It’s not pellet proof…… 😳 You just have to hope when.. not if… WHEN… you shoot your chrony that it dont kill it completely.
