EDIT: The Chat Room is now finalised. It’s at the top of the Forum. Please note that I will be moving it to the center and changing it to a text link some point very soon (I just wanted to get it up so you can all use it now rather than wait a little while longer).

Okay, the Chat Room is now up and running (top of the site). Thank you very much for all those that used it today and reported any errors, etc.
Please don’t mind the fact that the button is to the left as I will rejig the code for it tomorrow and change it to a text link as well. It doesn’t want to play ball and I need to hit the hay.

Just tried again, still a no go… I don’t even know what browser I’m using, same one I always use… whatever the stock Windows XP browser is I think.
I’m going to agree with bart. IRC is awesome.
Saugus: what Browser are/were you using? I have tested in in a number of Browsers, and they all work. The link is 100% correct as well. Try again if you could and see if it will let you on this time.

HTTP 404 – File not found
Yes, the Right Click>Paste issue is frustrating, but not a major concern, I think. Shame that Right Click isn’t supported, but it’s not the end of the world.
I’ll leave the test Chat up for a few more hours, just to see if anyone gets any negative issues with it (someone said that they couldn’t log on, so I’m waiting for details of that).

“ctrl v”. No biggie. Sounds are cool.

No, it won’t be using IRC in the foreseeable incarnations, but you never know what the future holds. At them moment, the Chat will be just as it is in the test.
