Q:

caliber upgrade

hi ya’ll i have a talon ss .22, i’d like to convert it to 9mm, how involved would this be to do, what kind of power can i expect? more than likely i’d
just be shooting eunjins? and after i do this would it be possible to drop in a .25 or .22 barrels and it still be usable without reversing any mods? thanks for any help

I wonder how fast your 9 mm valve would spit .22 JSB’s out at!

USELESSLY FAST. With “tuned” condor valve the .22 JSBs are already capable of well over speed of sound (1200+) and accuracy goes to crap. With a turned down 22rf bbl though it would probably be very good with the 50gr airbullets.

that might work out great i probably wont be ready to do anything for a while

don’t have exact chrony specs yet but think it will be about 750fps/150ftlb w/ 124gr hardcast bullet. As I get it worked out, plan on making a drop-in ready converstion available here, probably be a few months from now.

if you dont mind me asking what are the specs fps fpe range, any reccomendations on who to contact for the parts? im not dead set on this yet just kicking around the idea, origionally i was wanting to find a ready to drop in barrel and bushings to convert it to shoot the daystate .223 but had no luck finding one, and going to 25 is also still bouncing around in my head, not real sure what to do yet

I have just recently added a 9mm conversion to my Condor. The parts list is: Barrel, Hammer, Breech, Valve, Heavier hammer spring recommended. All completely reversible, and quite easy if you have two tanks, one with stock valve and a dedicated tank and valve for the big bore. Takes maybe 5-10 minutes to change from one setup to the other.
