The fact that that picture reminds you of that is absolutely horrifying. 😛
That reminds me: I got a Sweater last Christmas. It was nice, but I really would have preferred a Moaner or a Screamer.
Then you should find a skinner girlfriend
Pumping a tank to 3500psi is not fun on a hot Summer day, let me tell you!
synopsis.. Its like filling up a container with water. Theres a TON of water behind that faucet, You just have to keep an eye on the container and turn off the faucet when its full…
Offcourse.. theres a slight difference between spilling some water and blowing your hand and most of your leg off if you overfill 😯
I made the adapter myself for scuba tank (filled to 330bar). The first hole is only 1mm. After that there is the gauge and connector to tank. When you open the scuba valve slowly you can control the pressure very easily and stop at wanted pressure. For me it takes 10-20 seconds to fill the AirForce tank. Also the last 175-200 bar takes most of the time so it’s very easy and no need for regulator.
Here’s some pics to clarify:
If your pumping, there is a huge difference between 3k and 3500 PSI. Most folks wouldnt want to have to pump that high if they didnt have to. Doesnt your pump have a gauge on it?
Wait till it explodes, then let some air out and you’ll be at the right pressure.
😛
Stop at 3000psi/200 bar. The little guages are supposed to be accurate to about 100psi. As long as you stop on 3000, you won’t have a problem.
So you just stop as the pressure gets to 3000psi…?
The scuba adaptor should have a good guage to measure the pressure.
😕 I ask so I won’t end up finding out what a 3000+ psi explosion is like in my small work room as I’m sweating over a slippery pump handle like some crazed organ grinder with a dancing monkey… 😯
How does it work so a scuba tank with 4000psi doesn’t overfill the Talon tank? 😳 I have no such tank so naturally i’m curious how the luxury fill happens… 😆
I believe the idea is to have fun….. not kill yourself trying. 3000PSI plus is serious pressure. You wouldn’t even know that your head was blown off it would happen so fast.
The burst did is held in with a set screw. Remove the set screw and take out the burst disc. Measure the thread on the set screw and there you go.
Over filling your tank is dangerous….that is my policy and it is illegal to do so. I am saying that to simply let you know I am not reccomending you alter your bottle or over fill 😀
tell me more please 🙂 🙂
