Bought an == AIRCOMPRESSOR == NO MORE PUMPING!
Was crusing EBAY a few weeks back. Ran across a small town fire department selling their old air compressor. They got a FEMA grant and bought a new one for $33,000 – WOW!.
Anyway I through out a low bid, not expecting to get it, and guess what, I won it!! It’s 25 years old and ran off 3 phase power — 7.5 horsepower, weighs 350 pounds.
I just got it connected up today. Had to put a single phase 5 horsepower motor on it.
It chugs along just fine! Was worried that I would not have enough juce to run it, as I only have 100 amp service to this house. Starts and runs just fine.
Its nice to be able to top off my scuba tank to 3300 psi !! (It will hit 5000, if I want — but my tank is not rated for that).
I liked the exercise running the hand pump, but I was blowing out my right shoulder doing it. It’s hell getting older!!!

Hey WOK your supposed to give em a mask at night time,,,tell her it’s for sleep aptheia ( spelling ummm )..Anyways they wear it over night and in the morning you tank is topped off…..LOL…..by the way to the original starter of this post…your my hero…

I have had an Air Compresser for years……But she refuse to keep her mouth shut long enough to let me hook a hose to her mouth with a gauge….LOL 😈
