Before and After cleaning the barrel
After shooting my .25 Condor at 30 yards the groups did not look so good. The pic below shows the before and after cleaning the barrel and the before target is the better of 3 other targets. the 1 after target is just that one and all shot are with Kodiak’s. It seems that the barrel leaded up just after 270 or so shots. After all this rain goes away I will try some lubed Kodiak’s and non-lubed one’s with the Chrony. Both target’s have 5 shot’s each.

I’m very interested to see how the different lubed pellets shoot also..I’ve read a bit on this and people have all kinds of opinions to no lube to only this lube to furnature polish spray! yup guess it has some wax in it and has worked good for some.
Have you tried “JB Bore Bright” I just got osme of this and after running a couple patches down the barrel like 40 times or so there are a couple of spots that are shiny now and not dull! from just looking I had some spots even after cleaning from the breach end right where the small portion angles up to the fat part of the barrel. I have seen this on the 2 barrels I have here and the Bore Bright got rid of them… barrel get REALLY warm after running the patch up and down the barrel so I know there is a good bit of friction/polishing. I need to do some chrony before and after tests as well as some accuracy tests also.

Jim, I will look into the bore bright. I use Goo Gone when I get a new or used gun and it works great. After I get to shooting them for some time I use A.G.E bore cleaner. It has NO Chlorinated or Petroleum solvents, No Caustic and Butyl free.
