Q:

Barrel Movement

On my gun ive bored out the front barrel bushing so that the front of the barrel seats flat against the bushing. Theres about a 9mm hole to allow for clearence for the crown. Should the barrel have a clearance gap from the front bushing , to allow for expansion for example ?. Would the barrel being seated against the bushing affect acuracy ? Just wondering if anyone had any experiance / ideas! Thks

So by the looks of it ,im gona have to wing it and see! 😀

Buba,

Bubba the answer is yes or no…lol

Some would leave the muzzle touching nothing and have it floating. Others like a barrel band to secure the end of the barrel. Considering how robust your gun is I bet having it touching would be fine, but I personally would leave a space. Because with my luck it would effect the barrel and cause me problems.
