attaching a custom grip -How?
I finally got my SS up and running. After getting the noise down to hammer slap quiet, I’m moving on to the grip.
How do I attach a solid wood grip? Do I need to drill all of the way through from the bottom and use an extra long bolt?

lucky use the best we can get it 4″in 8mm and i,m always on the look for a bigger bit
Around here Ace Hardware sells long (12″) drill bits. I’d probably go with 1/8″ diameter. Use that for a pilot and make damn sure it’s where you want it. Then open up the bottom for bolt head and washer clearance, and open the top for #10 bolt.
hi mate .ves u will have to get a 7″bit to drill all the waty through or if u think your lucky go from the bottom with a bigger biit and then go from the top with the smaller 😀

OK, thanks guys. I might drill first and build the rest of the grip around it.
