Q:

Are these the bushings thats been talked about

In this picture, are the delrin bushings that have been referred to in my post below this one, are they the two circular bushings that can be seen on each of the AirForces photos of their barrels? If they are now made of aluminum, can they be purchased seperatley in case the gun I have coming does have delrin bushings?

I bought mine used also, and it came with Delrin bushings. I drilled the vents in the front one and they work fine. I take my SS apart often,so when the screws strip out the Delrin i’ll replace them with aluminum. Good luck with your new toy. I love mine,tz

Yeah, I saw yours hit the yellow this morning, but I bought the one coming to me a couple of days back w/ a BSA mildot 3-10 x 44 scope for $280. Just waiting on it to get here to see what bushings it has and if I would be better off changing them out.

I’ve got a TalonSS .22 for sale on the yellow forum and here that I bought at the beginnng of this year. It already has a set of extra bushings installed that were made by Tony of TalonTunes.

OK, waiting the arrival of the Talon SS I just bought off the yellow classifieds and as mentioned, I think it is a 2004 year model rifle. If this gun does have the Delrin barrel bushings, are they easily changeable?

I called the AirForce company in Ft. Worth Tx this morning to order a fill adapter and there was not a tech available to ask that question to. The lady did say that they sell the aluminum bushings for $12 bucks a pair. Just wandering if when mine comes in and it does have the Delrins, Would it be advisable to purchase these and install them myself if possible?

Hmm, not sure if they sell them but you can buy custom ones that are drilled to open up the space in between them.
