Very nice! Looks like a great solution with that butt pad (stock). So, it fits you well?

It works surprisingly well considering a paid $5 for it. I think I have it on upside down, but it’s not comfortable the other way around.

I guess you can use CO2 in the same tank, but I prefer HPA because it’s consistent in cold weather and cleaner because it does not condense.

Cool. What I’m thinking though is, it would cost me an additional $200-$300 to go the HPA route. Looks like about an $800 to $900 undertaking for full HPA setup w/Condor.

My CO2 tank adapter is using an HPA tank with gauge. My regulator outputs 1350 psi and shoots .22 14.3 gr pellets at 860 fps. I want to test it out on a TSS with 12″ barrel. It shoots .177 7.9 gr pellets at 930 fps.

So… can you put C02 into a regular HPA tank like the one supplied by Air Force?

Thanks guys! I appreciate your photos!

Pinguino; your top photo is the look I want. I contacted Air Force, and they told me the C02 tanks are different in size from the regular air tanks that they provide for HPA. They mentioned that the sleeve, and butt plate would not fit, either. But; you came up with something! And, it looks great! 😀

Again; I thought about the HPA option to begin with. But, it’s more money than I want to spend if I buy a Condor now. Also; AF said that on high power the .22 Condor on air sounded like a rimfire .22. And, even though, I do live in the country, it is in a little subdivision. I don’t want to worry the neighbors! Ha!!

Sacshooter; your top photo is nice, as well. I like the way you used the foam pad to hold pellets. Nice! Not sure I would be comfortable with the setup in your second photo. I guess, I just have no idea how the Condor (or Talon) sets up to the shoulder, as opposed to a conventional rifle.

Sirjeigo; Very nice! Is that a HPA tank. I see the gauge on it.

Again; thanks for the photos, everyone!

And; I have also considered the performance of C02 in cooler temps. I live in the midsouth (outside Memphis, TN). We do have temps down in the teens. Today, it’s starting out at 37 degrees. It might get to 55 today. I have shot the 850 AirMagnum at around 55 degrees and lower. Although, still; I only have around 140 rds. fired through her. 😯 In the wintertime around here, we might not get much snow. But, it does get cold. It it’s jacket weather, I would like to be able to shoot. But; if it’s just uncomfortably cold, I’m not going out. Since, I don’t hunt, and just shoot paper, water bottles, cans, etc,,, I prefer to stay inside when it’s that cold.

With that said, I have looked around a bit at used scuba tanks just to get an idea what these things cost. I found a sight that sells them for what appears to be a good price. What do you guys think? 3,000 psi…

Well I have the 12oz and the 9oz tanks for my condor. Both of them do well. The 9oz tank is almost the same size as the high pressure tank that comes with the gun. And the 12oz tank is the same size as a can of beer. 😀 It does increase the height of your cheek but not to much for a set of high rings.
Gust a note: Cold weather and CO2 don’t go together well. You will see a good size drop in FPS. I went from around 700+ W/16.5 grain pellet @ 70 degrees to around 580-600 @ 50 degrees.

Here is one with a 9oz tank attached. If you want some close ups I can do them tonight. (condor)

Much appreciated! I cannot see the photos here at work 🙁 . But, I will check them when I get to the house this afternoon.

I am really curious how changing from the 9oz, 12oz, or 20oz tank would affect how the rifle fits up to the shoulder.

Thanks again!
