another rapid stock
well since i,ve been doing stocks in my spare time to keep me out off trouble
i,ve been asked by a few lads to do one for them so my next one is a mk 1rapid stock ,this one,s getting made from english walnut with maple spacer and american black walnut cap i will be qdding the same to the but end when i get more ,here,s a few pics off it so far . will be a good few days before i get more done . bloody work gets in the way as always oh and my so called new replaced belt sander has went bang on me . it,s all off two weeks old .

well took it into work today to found out a suprise it needs to go on a diet . not to sure about u lad in america but here they like there stocks realy light and this one,s a fatty standars stocks r 1 1/2 bls now this one is nearly double /so i,ll have to work hard at it to get that weight off lol bummer

ye mate i started with a 3 ” bit off english walnut it,s been hard going to get it to shape as it,s hard stuff but it,s getting there

now i,m a happy puppy got a chance to get the stock worked on today and got that much done i manegaed to get it a coat off grain sealer and tomorrow i,ll be giveing it another and it,s first coat off oil .
