Amazing Gun
New guy here, thanks for having me over.
I’ve been shooting airguns since 1971 when I got a Crosman 760. Since then, I’ve been an avid airgunner but strictly springs and over the last few years, vintage sporters and matchguns.
I just got a brand new SS yesterday in .177 and CO2.
Amazing gun. Made a few LD collector thingies with 1″ fender washers with 1″ round felt furniture pads. Stuck one on the washer, drilled it 1/4 through the pad then stuck one on the other side and drilled it from the opposite side. Made sure the holes was clean cut and stacked 4 in the end of the shroud, no spacer. The felt had enough compression in it to keep it from going down the tube. Popped the cap back on, threw a scope and sighted it and then proceeded to drop them in the same hole with JSB Express at 10M. No noise, no recoil, just amazing.
The gun needs a buttplate and the can needs a cover. My face was getting chilly but I am impressed.
There’s plenty of info on this site so I’ll make sure to read it all before I ask questions but I may have a few…

I can’t take the credit for that, I got the idea from someone on this site. They work like a charm though.
Also, as a new guy, I’ve researched all the quick tips for new Talon Owners and copied and pasted everything onto one Word document that way I have it all in one place.
If any new guy wants a copy of that, just send me an email and I’ll get it off to you
