Ya, don’t get me wrong, I love my SS, but when I read about all of the things that could be done to make a good thing better, I wonder why he wouldn’t incorporate several of them into his plan. No biggie. I agree, he’s a smart cat!

From what I’ve read I am I am impressed with MacCaslin. He built the better mouse trap. I know all to well about waiting for suppiers to meet ones needs. Seems like a pretty sharp cat. He must be doing something right or this forum wouldn’t be here.
That’s interesting. So is the price of the AF guns going to go up? Is the quality going to get better? Is Mr. Mc Caslin going to use any of the proven modifications that are listed on this site to give us a better product out of the box? Things that make you go hmmmm.
That was indeed a very interesting article, and I am pleased to see that he took that step. I love modern CNC machines. They’re just too cool.
p.s. Adam, your butt plate assembly looks great. And that 1911 grip is also just too cool. Knowing what kind of a machine that you made that grip frame with attests to your skill and patients. Good work.
