Some black delrin can have a filler that “might” make it porous causing slow leaks. I have used both black and white and both work!

Cheers,

Marc

ive used the black and white both for many years on at least 100 gun seals , they both seal equaly well , most seals i do are at .05to.03” seal coverage on port and 2000-3000psi

That is what I was told also. There is also 2 types of acetal/delrin. One is no good for seals.

I’ve been told to use the white Delrin not the black, by a number
of people who have been doing valves for years.

Delrin is just the dupont brandname for acetal. Nothing more nothing less. And perfectly useable.

Have fun stay safe.

Marc

You want white acetal. Delrin is a form of acetal but not as good. I use acetal in all my valves.

Mcmaster Carr sells it by the foot.
