well i,m in the middle off oiling a stock the now and i,ve been a bit board waiting so i thought i would get back to a stock i machined a wee back here,s it so far . it still needs stained or painted don,t know what to do with it .

well i,ve gone and done it lads gave it a few coats off ebony die and she,s looking nice and rustic .still a few coats off oil then thats it doen .
trying a differnt method now lads a few coats off ebony dye and here,s how it looks after the first

well lads as i said i realy can,t deside what to do with it .i was out shooting thismorning and i was still thinking what to dowith it even though i had rabbits on my cross hair,s lol i,ll ponder over the next few days what to do with it . cheer,s for your coments lads .
blue jay mate it,s all been a bit hecktec aboout her4e the now as my missus is preggers again so i,m not geting much time to do anything so any time i get i,m doing stocks and grips but one thing a saturday night is my night for shooting and no one but the rain can stop that lol 😛
If i wasn’t a lefty, I’d make you an offer on that. Nice work. If you valued you time by the hour i bet no-one could afford to buy it from you. I’ve done much woodworking and can appreciate the time involved in creating a piece like that.

flawless as always, you do beautiful work rabbits. hows the wee one and the misses doing? I’d bet they’re probably not giving you any time for hunting lately 🙁 but a new wee one is well worth it 8)
Damn, rabbits, that’s sweet! I’d stain it with black india ink, polish out with 4/0 steel wool, then top coat with clear poly. It’ll come out looking like polished black iron, very cool and a nice match for the Talon/Condors. Later.
