ok pictures….
The HMR got new scope this weekend a bushnell 4200 6-24×40 and wow thats a nice piece of glass, with enough zoom for the 100-200 yard shots with the hmr….i ran out of adjustments vertiacally, so i wasnt able to pull the recticle up high enough grrr…but it is pinpoint accurate with the hornady 20 grain XT bullets, however the winchester ammo did not do very well…had to try it…i shot some old rootbeer cans, the soda had gone stale so it was designated plinking targets
Thomson Center R.55 is a .22lr semi auto rifle, with a shot semi bullbarrel it spits out the CCI greentag at 950 fps, at 50yards the shots where hitting the same place over and over again, at 100 i had to use the the reticules post where it gets fat….not much…at 100yards it was still very accurate, and i was able to pick off the clay pigeons that the airguns had shot to pieces but was still enough chunks to hit them…very fun with asemi auto and that kind of accuracy….the federal target ammo did well too…but not as good….nothing else i have shot in this rifle has done as wel as the greentag….its a bit more pricey but not much, ill pay the extra for the accuracy…and keep the other stuff for plinking stuff
scope is a simmins whitetail 3-9×40 i was going to change it out but its light and bright and did the job well…so it might just stay
the 457 was just along for the fun of it…..2 shots went through it….just for the testing and feel of it…
the B50 in .25 config….was set up for about 65 fpe…but unfortunatly the scope was mounted way to far forward…so after a couple of shots that sounded like the .22lr i got packed away again, reciever and barrel is mirror polished…wont stay like this….its gonan get blued…
this was the range….it was icy as hell…after a couple of hours it started snowing which was kinda cool as we could use the snowlfakes as indicators for the winds….it was gusting all day…making shooting groups very hard….
here we are wrapping it up…all the clay pigions got slaugtered at 100 yards by the airguns…it was awesome
and heres the lineup
from the left
talon 457, Rapid .25 500cc 60 fpe, airwolf .22, steyer .22 30 fpe, B50, airwolf, AA410 sidelever, aa410 old version

Spent Saturday at Lagua Beach at a friends house having a BBQ. We sat in his yard watching wales and dolphins swim by 250 yds out from his yard.
But today we have some drizzle and it is about 67°……the weather is tough here….LOL
infortunatly I’m without my guns at the moment….

Man that sounds like it was a blast Cygnus glad you guys had fun even though the weather is still nasty.
Cool to hear how the different guns shot compared to each other too.
What .22 did you get? Bolt action? how much does the .22 Greentag go for now? you should post some pics of your setup…
Jim.
