A couple of upgrades for he Mini Mill
I don’t know who has a mini mill here but I thought I would post these additions in case someone was interested.
The mini mill has plastic gears and can break at the worst times. I added a belt drive modification which allows a larger range speed as well never having to deal with a broken gear again. This is a great addition and is money well spent. http://littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=2560&category=
The DRO system was a large purchase and almost cost as much as the mill itself…lol. It really aids in precision to what is being made and make the mill a very accurate machine. http://stores.ebay.com/SMW-Precision-LLC_Home-Shop-DRO-Kits_W0QQcolZ2QQdirZ1QQfsubZ3QQftidZ2QQtZkm
These guys are great to deal with and very helpful.
While this machine has it limitations it will enable a homeshop machinist to make things they can not otherwise.

Holy crap that knife is gorgeous. 😯
Is it double bladed? I’ve always adored that kind of fighting knife. I own a cold steel OSS from back when they made them in their carbon v steel. I have held and played with a lot of knives, but there is nothing I like more than that very style.
Amazing work man.
