I think that the below might be of interest for some:
I personally think that the guy is in laalaa land if he thinks that they will sell in the hundreds though.

That is the problem…. he wants to use a stock valve with no mods or porting required. The barrel, breech, hammer and hammer spring would be the sum of the ‘kit’ for a bolton upgrade.
Who is Rick BTW? that would help me understand what he knows.

In defense of Rick, I think he might be onto something. Who would have thought a year or 2 ago that a Condor could make 400+fpe? If he can get the valve properly regulated, he may be able to get 10 shots at the power he’s looking for. I’ve had some in depth conversations with Rick in the past, and he seems to know a few things about airguns and designs.
A nice project for oneself but for retail…I don’t know.
The Korean guns are so well made and nice for the money they are hard to beat.
But then again a novelty can sell very well and having a 9mm Crosman just might do okay.
he will have no trouble getting 10 shots 🙂 that is if 9mm at 30fpe is acceptable………
some guys got their ‘eads in the dark place…….

Somehow I don’t believe he’ll get 10 shots out of that tiny 2000 psi reservoir either.

I know Rick
He lives up in Big Bear.
He was into modding Dirt bikes and had a shop for many years.
He got into airguns about 6 months ago.
For the past 6 months he has bought tons of air rifle to study.
He spends all of his days reading, shooting, taking apart, and putting together airguns.
With out modding the valve, the discovery will not get the velocity that he wants.
He will figure that out. I am sure he will take any feed back that people have to offer him and work with it.
