!LOL! Good to hear those soft lead “pellets” made it to you and got a WOW out of ya’! It is very hard to find honest-to-goodness dead soft lead like those are. Most casters consider wheel weight to be soft.
I had the honor of firing CygnusX’s Behemoth SS and I’m here to tell ya’, if you get to shoot it, you will definiteley have a newfound respect for the potential these air rifles have after the right person rubs on them. That is ONE BAD MOTOR SCOOTER!!! 😯 😈 😯 😈

did a little tweaking of it here the other day

i was very happy with the round ball result….”only” 310 fpe but 10 consistent shots

4 shots with 405 grain at about 500 fpe and a backup shot …

dont know if the main spring has compressed a bit or something, cause it has lost power from just sitting there unused for a since november

last i tried it it pumped out 560 fpe….and this time it topped out at 520 fpe…that was before i changed the spring preload and did the above tests

the last 3 shots is some super soft lead…according to the guy i ordred them with this is as soft as lead is gonna get….and i gotta say wow…they splatter like a waterballon dropped on the ground !

the hardcasts usually just cants when the strike and flip end over

Geez cygnus. You have all these cool toys and sell them for such great prices. Every time I see you selling something I dig through the couch for money.

Unfortunately, I usually find less than a dollars worth. 😛

You could always offer him that used condom you found with the “brown” stains on it. 😆

Some say that the condor’s frame is too small for .50 cal, but it would be nice to use the same ammo as my career dragon does (.495 180gr round balls)

I would like to get a big bore kit if one was available. My other concern is where to buy ammo especially since I live in Canada. I would like to learn how to cast my own ammo someday though.

Does anyone know where I can buy a 9mm barrel?

I am one that says a .50 is too big for the frame. The .457 is a good compromise with adequate room for hammer heavy enuf to make power

We can still work on the 9mm deal we chatted about Joe. Still want the B21 from you.
I plan to order some barrels in the next month. Could easily add one for you to the order. Could even test it in Randy’s Condor to see how it pans out.
let em know okay?
Walter….
Been shooting my 9mm getting a nice efficient 160fpe out of it.

if your interested i got a working SS in .457 that will hammer a 500 grain projectile out at 600+ fpe

*30″ quackenbush barrel
*aluminum breech
*frame weight out in the front
*shroud (yes it helps)
*1 piece scopemount
*4-12×50 nikko sterling goldcrown scope or tasco varmins 2.5-10×42
*trirail
*bipod
*alot of ammo, think somewhere around 100×405 grains, 300 roundball, 5-600 rounds of custom made super soft lead 300 grain ammo
*2 bottles one with my highpower valve that will make 600 fpe, or provide about 15 shots with roundball, the other bottle has a blodnop valve that i modded to increase power, it has a slow leak.
*crosman laser
*custom hammer

1300 bucks+ shipping
for 1400 ill throw in the original SS parts (barrel, hammer, powerwheel, spring, breech, valve etc.)

rifle has been worked on alot so bears some scars here and there…it is sold as is !

oh yea you would have to modify the valving and the hammer spring probably. but what an awesome gun you would have.

I think that you would also need to do a lot of valve work in order for it to supply enough air. However, big bore Condors can certainly be done, and can be made to do 400fpe+ with heavy work.
