Q:

5 Tins of .22 Predators Arrived Today

I ordered them with out even having a .22 Barrel, I do have a Barrel on the way. I have never seen a .22 pellet before and the first thing I said was “DAMN THATS GOING TO KICK A RATS ASS” …. LOL. That thing actually looks illegal. Question can some one post a picture of a expanded predator in .22 or .177. šŸ˜€

You will love the predators. When you hit a grackle or crow in the chest, you hear a very loud smack. Nothing more pleasing than that sound hitting a crow…

What do they weigh?

I can’t wait to try them out as soon as my barrel get in.

I too love the predators, Sunday at my fatherā€™s house I mounted a new scope on my .22 SS. After I sighted in at 20 yards, I moved back to 42 yards. Shooting from a bench with the predators I was able to put 3 of them in one long hole. I didnā€™t take any pictures, but I did place the crony in front of the target and it showed 639 fps at 42 yards. I am very happy with it and the predators. At 42 yards they still punched through a 1ā€x6ā€ fresh fence board.

I canā€™t wait until I take the SS squirrel hunting in Cedarville, CA this year. My father kept the targets to show off to his hunting friends.

Its the most accurate pellet i’ve ever shot from my rig. They are tacks, although i mostly shoot Kodiaks which are a close second i’ve always got a tin of preds sitting around. In all the shots i’ve taken and examined, the red tip tends to dislodges itself and breaks up into fragments, 3 or so pieces. There is some deformation of the lead, it seems the energy is taken up in the initial impact. Which tends to be a harder impact then a pass through. Happy hunting, your going to love the .22 cal.

Not scientific, but here ya go.
