Q:

32gr .22cal eun jin jet pellets

A friend of mine set me a tin of 32gr Eun Jin pointed pellets in .22cal.
These pellets are huge!!
Length is .4740.

I took the Sumatra carbine out on Saturday and decided to test them.
The wind was 20 to 30 mph.
I had to wait tell the afternoon for the wind to die down a little.
Here is a group at 73 yards.

Not bad for a pointed pellet!
The only thing that I had an issue with was seating the pellets in the mag.
They are a tight fit and really long.
I used a Q-tin to press them down. Didn’t want to smash the head.
No Issues cycling in the carbine.

These pellets are longer then the 42gr .25cal ones.
They should start hitting the stores any day.

No chrony but I bet they are going around 900fps. I shot at a 22lr steel spinner and that thing was spinning it no problem.
My AA 410erb couldn’t spin it at that distance.
I know that the Sumatra 500cc will push them over 1000fps.
I fill the Carbine to 3400psi and set the power to medium for more shots.
My carbine will push the 28gr at 986fps with a 3400psi fill but power will drop by 10fps per shot.
If i set it at medium power, I get more shots and still a powerhouse.

Eun Jin has alot of differnt pellets that they make. Pointed, round nose and wadcutters.
Its all about how well they will sell.
I want a 25cal pellet that is longer then the 42gr but round nose.
Maybe a 65gr.

WOW now that looks good 😀

Boo! I don’t have anything to shoot them with. Bah.

They do look good though, although I’m surprised that Dae Sung would make them pointed when they have had so much success with the regular 28 Grainers.

Thats what the doctor called for 32g is just about right for 40/45fpe and up. I’ll be waiting for those and quick to purchase.

Nice group!Did you chrony any?
