.25 AAA Condor at 45 yards
I’m getting the bird ready for it’s first hunt next week if all goes well. We are going for jack rabbit’s and I also hear that some coyote’s are also in the area. I’m shooting with the high flow tank and the Kodiak’s at 2800psi and the 42.8gr Eunjin’s at 2900psi and I have the same zero for both pellets at 40 to 45 yards. All shots I did at a friends house and the wind was maybe 2-5mph and at 45 yards 5 shots on each target.

I’m not too sure what the press. drops to but it seems to be around 2K maybe a little more. The mosquitos do not work that good in my gun with both tanks and the best it can do is 1″ at 20 to 25 yards with the Talon tank and the high flow tank is not good. The Kodiak’s work much better with a higher FPE in both tanks and With the Kodiak’s I get one big hole groups around 1/2 to 3/4″ from 20 out to 50 yards.
Thanks. Looks like i’m in the ballpark for velocity (I have both talon/condor tanks as well). Any idea on remaining pressure after the Kodiac string w/ hiflo valve? I think my air consumption is somewhat too high & affecting my consistency.
Do you like the webley mosquitos? I bought one tin to try and got a 1″ group at 35yds w/ co2 @ 680fps (perfect NOISELESS backyard shooter and of course TONS of shots). Haven’t worked with this much just shot a couple groups out of curiosity. Turns a beast into a sleeping giant
Have had my new 24″ .25 bbl and shroud from Anthony about a week now (THANKS ANTHONY! 😀 😀 😀 proper credit will be given in another thread) do you have a shot string you can post with Kodiacs and how many shots per fill? I’m finally getting mine dialed in where I think I want it but would like to have something to compare to. Curious where I stand compared to yours since you seem very happy with it.
This what mine will do and the Talon tank will give more shots but the Condor high flow tank can give you 10 or more good shots. Keep in mine that my rig and tanks was setup by Anthony.

I’m in Antioch just down the road. 😀
Hey photo that sure was some nice shootin. Where at in Cali are you? I’m in the Central valley 120 miles south of Sac. and 60 miles north of Fresno.
Thanks Vlady, she’s really shooting great for me.
Hey Photo, looks like it’s under an inch c-t-c with Kodiak. Very nice!
Hey, check pyramydair.com out, they have F1 chronograph fot $78. Can’t beat that. Add something to make it $150 or more so they ship everything for free.
I have an Alpha for about 2 years now. So far so good.
I know your right on the chrony. But which one should i get????? I want all the bells and whistles, yet know I’ll probably use the heck out of it this spring/summer and then it will sit in my garage. Which model would you suggest. My local shop has one on the shelf, an F-1 for less than $100.00 Deal or no deal?
Not sure what’s the deal with crosman’s cardboard box. Never liked CP anyway…but what you need is a chronograph. After that you are all set, you’ll see exactly what you need to do as far as velocity, energy, and the PW setting goes. It’s hard to make adjustments if you don’t have that info available.
hope it helps.
That’s VERY good info for a newbie like myself. I have two questions…1. Why are the crosman premiers (.22 cal.) in the card board box so much more than the premiers in the tins? 2. .22 cal. Crosman premiers @14.3 grains, I believe. Does anyone have a good guess where I should set the power wheel for as close as possible to 1000 F.P.S. Thanks.
when my condor was bone stock in .22 it was shooting 21 gr. kodiak at 1010-1070 fps for about 35 full power shots, the PW was set to 10-10. That’s 50+fpe.
hope it helps.
Thanks knife I was talking about .22 and I figured it was about 35 FPE.

Mosquitos worthless at high velocity. scattered everywhere for me too. Tried the CO2 as an afterthought and they did much better
