20 cal barrels
Anyone ever use them in their condors yet? If so, how well do they compare to .177, .22 or .25?

Never the less Bod.. You pointed me in the right direction! I have been trying to get a .22 Air rifle for over 40 years! Parents gave me a .20 Sheridan when I was about 12. Loved it. But wanted a .22. Bought a Crossman pump in .22 that never worked. Sent it to the factory, and the mail lost it on the way back. Went searching several times for one, and the stores never had one. Always came home with a .177. Grrrrr!!! Finally ordered the Talon SS in .22, but as you know, It arrived in .20. Seems I was jinxed for years to never own an.22 Air rifle. Well I finally have one, and this thing kicks serious butt! I love it. I would say that it was worth the wait, but a 40 year wait is a bit too long!
I’m still a great fan of the .20 but I wont be changing any time soon. So no I won’t be using the .20 Barrel. It is oiled and put away. Several people here expressed interest in it. May be I should let folks know I have it available now that I have the .22 in the gun. The heavier weight of the Kodiak in the .22 just fits the velocity in the 18″ bbl. (especially after the valve mod.) so much better.
You were testing the performance between the light return spring, and the factory spring. What have you decided, and or what was the results?
Oop’s, almost forgot, I have the top hat set at .69 at the moment. I need to get a chrony so I can chech the settings for best air usage. Power wheel is on 10. I see many saying not to go over 8 or 9. Seems strange to me, as many go to a slightly heavier hammer. I must be missing somthing. As either will give higher energy to the top hat strike. Weight X velocity=energy. Wouldn’t increasing either give the same end result? Mike
