I used to work in a machine shop in the NAVY. I am no Journeyman but I learned things and I turned things out on milling mnachines and lathes.
I was pretty good at set up and getting a idea for a job. My supervisor was pretty badass.
It was like he knew everything to know about metals and their properties and how things were designed and why…
It blew me away….
