Talon to TalonDor Take Down Pistol/Rifle

Hi Guys
i'm Guido from The Netherlands.
And also an AirForce, and specialy Talon SS Fan !

I bought mine via airgunexporter by Pyramide, and am very happy with it !

But still i found some things that could be better, specialy for me personall.
I'm realy an pistol shooter, because of my neck is not ok, so i can't aim like rifle ..
But, i still wanted to have an Talon ss, so i have asked RobJan, from The Netherlands also, if he could make me an special kit, so i can leave the bottle off ?!
And yes he could, en so i have now ! 8)
I'm shooting now directly from a 200 bar bottle with AirForce clamp !!
RobJan made me an new Tophat wit bigger hole than an Talon Tophat, but smaller then an Condor Tophat.
But then also with an ligther spring in the valve so that makes him stronger again !
I call it an TalonDor Valve ! 8)
And it shoot like crasy, but i don't have a chrony to tell preciese, but believe me; it shoot VERY HARD !!

Aspecialy with thiss

When i was shooting earlyer i found him still a bitt noisy...
So i considdered that i could better putt an 17 inch barrel in the frame, and putt an muzzle cap on it with 1/2 UNF thread for an Weihrauch shroud !
And so it's done !! 8)

Now i got i little BIG, but silent M.therF..er..

That would be a fun bench gun.

We have a tutorial in the Quick Reference section on how to modify a Talon Valve. I have a 16" barrel on mine with a modified valve and it shoots Crosman priemeres at 950fps and Kodiaks at 850 fps.

You should be shooting around there.

i can't tell for shure, but RobJan ho bilt a lot of Power Condors, Talons, Stealths and so on, that it shoot "Condor like"..
Is about 100 feet per second i thought ??

But when he wants to test it with shooting trough a Chrono, it explodes..
So now he has no Chrono any more and i don't no the exact speed..
I hope in the future to lend one ...

offcource i ment; "Talon like" with 1000ft/sec...

Now, my TalonDor is shorted to real Pistol model (10" barrel...) 8)

No, not yet, shot over an chrony..

But the valve got a bigger hole then a Talon, but smaller then a Condor.
But with a lihter spring in it also.
So i call it the TalonDor valve ! 8)

And with the 17" Barrel he shoot like, or more then an Talon.

So now with the 10" Barrel as the Pistol, he will shoot about; 850 ft/sec.. 8)

But i hope to shoot 'm over an chrony soon...

I shoot with;
Skenko, Big Boy.
Norica, Ban.
JSB, Monster.
Eley, Wasp Magnum; Pellets as my favorites

Here in Holland we either got 44 grain, real hard, bullets !!
But they are for a standard port in your barrel to long for them...
So if you wanna juse these, you have to make your port bigger
I never shot these therefore...

This is how my .22 cal. AF Talon(ss)Dor looks today Pictures

Got my Adapter on it, with the TalonDor valve in it, to shoot directly from the scuba-tank...
And my Custom-made HW Shroud on it
Works freakin' GOOD like that
And i have an 2-8 x PistolScope, ánd a Small Red Dot for it, both from; Konus Pro...
And i can choose to shoot from my AF Bipod as BenchRest, or without it as Pistol...

Nice eh ?!...

Add a custom stock with a hole just big enough to run the micro hose thru it and a smaller tank that fits in a child carrier size back pack and I'd be happy as hell
