As with most of us who love our Air Force airguns, I am constantly looking for new items to add for functionality or for looks. The new Air Force Edge is no exception. Immediately on getting the gun, I added a shroud extension, an 18 inch barrel, a scope, and a WOKBUTT I 'borrowed' from my Talon.

The result was this...

The gun looked great, IMO, and shot well... giving me a bit over 500fps with most mid weight pellets. Accuracy was great up to 20 yards as well...

After adding a small piece of felt to the inside of the plastic cheek rest to minimize the annoying little noise coming from the plastic hitting the metal tube, I felt the gun was good to go.

but.....

Something was still just not right when I shouldered it. The WOKBUT I adapted was a little large for the Edge and since I only used the butt of it, there was no provisions for cant or to raise or lower the pad. I felt as though when shouldering the Edge, I needed to move the butt down more to get a good sight picture with both the scope and with open sights. I didnt want to move the rest of the hardware for the WOKBUT to the Edge as I was using it on my Talon, but with a standard Air Force butt plate.

I spoke with Adam (Walk On King) as he was doing another run of WOKBUTS (http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/message/1265391065/%231+Upgrade+for+Talon-Condor...The+Wokbutt ) and he made the newly crowned WOKBUTT MINI! This incorporates a slightly smaller version of the WOKBUTT with a small sized adapter that allows for elevation adjustment as well as cant adjustment. The WOKBUTT MINI arrived today and I installed just a few minutes ago. Night and day difference. I did remove the scope and added both the front and rear Air Force sights to check and sight picture is easily acquired in a natural head and neck position as opposed to stock.

This is definitely a must have addition to the Edge, just as the original WOKBUTT is to the standard Talon and Condor. Very nicely done, Adam.... you've outdone yourself again!

....and here is my Edge with the WOKBUTT MINI installed!

I think an aluminum trigger shoe and an aluminum cocking knob will round out the looks of this little gun and after that, I'll stick a fork in her.....[/img]

That looks great.

I am glad the size worked out for the Edge. The right shoulder piece can really make or break that gun comfort.

Nice Rob!

Adam, make me one of those mini woks for my Edge. No hurry. PM me when it's ready and I'll PP you. Thanks

PS - If you can make that extension also, I'll take that too. It'll look better without that front sight on.
